Classes!
A fun new club-class,
Santa’s village!GeorgaDee MacLeod will teach one of these every other
month beginning the 4th Saturday of February, April, June, August
and finishes the last canvas in October 2008. The smaller houses
measure approx. 4 x 6, and run between $53-64 each. Santa’s house measures
9 x 6, $92. We will start with the smaller houses and work our way
up to Santa’s house.
Each canvas has it’s own stitch guide and charms,
$17. The entire thread kit is available for $397 (a savings of $299 if
thread kits purchases separately) or 3 payments of $132.
Class fee is $15 per

Enhancement Classes
Our always popular and usually sold out
Canvas Enhancement classes will continue with additional classes being
held 3 times each month. This class is designed to help you get back on
track on a project or jump start a new one. GeorgaDee guides you with
new stitches and thread suggestions. These classes fill up fast,

Thread Embroidery designed by Patricia Bage
Drawn thread on linen and embroidered
embellishment of flowers and vines. That is what this beautiful piece
is made up of. Cutting and withdrawing the fabric thread and leaving
open areas in the ground fabric, with embellishment to create an
intricate, lacy effect. This delicate and detailed embroidery piece
can be framed, a decorative insert for a box lid, or a pretty pillow.
The threads used are a combination of metallic and silks. The colors
of the vines and flowers are of your choice. This project is worked on
25ct. antique white linen and finished size is 7”x7” So bring you
glasses, small scissors with a sharp nose, and 12”x12” stretcher bars
to come experience a new, but old, piece of needle work.

Monogrammed treasures have such
special meaning. Learn how to embroidery an initial using classic
white thread on natural linen. This piece can be made into an
adorable pillow or for a beautiful box. Join Donnelle in learning new
stitches that pad the initial and quick stitches that cover the
padding to give the initial a raised look. The Simplicity of the
design you will love.

Out of the Closet” Classes with Donnelle
Anderson
It’s cleaning out the old and bringing in the new. Ladies, I know we all have
those needlepoint-embroidery-handwork UFO’s in our closets and drawer’s that
need to be finished. In my house, the new and exciting projects get worked on
first (The Needlepointer just has too many great Trunk Show’s!!!), and the other
fabulous projects get put at the bottom of the pile. This can bring further
despair: “What stitch was I doing? what colors went where? and how do I start
it from where I left off?”. Well my dear friends, I’ve got an idea, come stitch
with me and other stitchers that understand this concept, and let’s work on
those projects together. I will be on hand to help untangle those questions and
help you get Aunt Mable’s Christmas gift done for 2008!!! What a great feeling
and have fun while we do it! This class will be offered every third Saturday
from 9:30 A.M. to noon. Cost is $15.00 per session. This will start Saturday,
March 15th. Hope to see you then!
