Product Description

The Patches class is a superb class, but don’t just take my word for it, below is a note from one of the students… We have lengthened the class by one, to give most of us more time to study our color palettes, plan our placement and stitch the 35 different stitches and design the border. We have scheduled a new Patches class to begin on Saturday, April 6th, 2pm -4 pm.  If you have taken this class previously and need a jumpstart, you are encouraged to sign up as well.  Just make a note in check-out that you do not need the canvas & stretcher bars and we will adjust the fee accordingly.

“Honestly, I feel like chains have been loosened, doors flung wide open and whole worlds opened up to me. Never have I dared to try so many fibers and combinations of stitches. For me, once a canvas had been selected and threads pulled, there was too much invested to risk unexpected results. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you have taught me.

This project, and my follow-on “Patches II” with some of the same stitches in different fibers and new stitches I’d have never dared, have completely changed the way I look at patterns, stitches and especially fibers! There are options now that would have never seemed within my potential. These were fibers that people who ‘knew what they were doing’ used or fibers had a specific single use (ie Santa’s beard) and to no longer feel that intimidation is huge. This changes everything – which is amazing when I consider the thousands of combinations yet untried. It is the absence of fear, I believe, that makes all the difference.

I am so grateful and so appreciative. There really are not words. Thank you.”
